We developed this mini-site in time for the Christmas season of December 2009. The purpose of this “landing page” site was to gather customers who went to the site because of the Christmas promotion. Bridgeport, through the use of television, radio, and flyers, sent a stream of customers to the site. The customers then filled out a “wish list” which then automatically sent an email to their significant other (with the list of items they wished to have for Christmas) as well as another email to Bridgeport’s Marketing Department which allowed them to keep track of the number of successful form completions. Data was gathered and stored in a SQL database for future use.
