About Steve Kim
Introduction
Steve is a Korean-American, born and raised in Portland, Oregon. From a young age, he developed a passion for dancing, practicing breakdancing and hip hop throughout his teenage years. Around the same time, his interest in marketing began to take shape. As a member of DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) in high school, he earned third place at the national finals with his marketing project “Nightlife.”
After high school, Steve attended Santa Clara University, where he played football during his freshman year. The following year, he expanded his horizons by becoming an exchange student in Japan, spending two years at Sophia University.
In 1998, Steve launched his web development career, working with several major tech companies, including Microsoft and Intel.
Today, Steve is the primary consultant at his digital marketing firm, Skyfire. He also manages three rental properties and oversees a network of successful e-commerce websites.
